Raid: Shadow Legends – Arbiter Quest & 100M Damage
Introduction
Raid: Shadow Legends thrives on massive challenges and steep milestones, and one of the most exciting is snagging Arbiter. We’ve been building toward this moment, chipping away at hefty damage targets, and planning around key tournaments and events. After smashing 100M damage on the Demon Lord, we’re finally set to claim our prize. But should we do it right away, or time it for a better payoff in the upcoming Champion Chase?
The Road to 100M Damage
The main task: deal 100M damage on Nightmare difficulty against the Demon Lord. Ultra Nightmare can come close, but it’s not guaranteed to break that big number. The workaround? Lining up a solid team and hammering Nightmare instead. We managed to push through with champions specializing in burns, reflect, and heavy hits to ensure we’d cross the mark in fewer attempts.
Collecting the final damage reward triggers the long-awaited Arbiter unlock, a massive boost to any roster. Timing is essential, though, because saving the claim for a Champion Chase event means extra points—and possibly more champions.
Champion Chase Timing
The Champion Chase usually launches around significant fusions, allowing players to earn more rewards for each champion they summon or claim. With that in mind, it’s often worth waiting a day or two before redeeming a big legendary pull, especially if you have shards stored and more champions ready to summon.
This strategy can save you from wasting precious points. Missing smaller events like a Dungeon Divers might sting, but you can still progress in other areas. If you plan ahead, you can skip some tournaments without sacrificing your entire fusion run.
Spider Team Tactics
Spider can be a stumbling block for newcomers, but once you figure out your champion lineup, it’s surprisingly quick. With the right burn champions like Geomancer or Mordecai, plus damage dealers such as Coldheart, you can rip through Spider 20 in under a minute.
In our tests, the team composition needed to keep the burners alive while the turn meter control (like Coldheart’s Heartseeker) stayed on pace. Boosting Mordecai beyond level 50 and gearing him appropriately will raise both speed and survival. That means more consistent burn uptime and quicker runs.
Champion Training & Gear Enhancement
Champion Training feels like a grind: feeding brews, leveling fodder, and finding enough silver to keep enhancements rolling. Small steps add up, though. Even sprinkling brews into duplicate epics or new rares can rack up points for Champion Training or similar tournaments.
Gear cleansing is another vital task. Regularly removing subpar equipment frees space and ensures you only invest in pieces that genuinely help your team. After all, the last thing you want is to drown in a sea of junk gear when you could be focusing on those perfect rolls for your best champions.
Final Thoughts
Working through these missions showcases the fun and frustration of Raid: Shadow Legends. Hitting 100M damage took teamwork, event management, and a bit of luck, but it feels sweet to be on the verge of adding Arbiter to the roster.
Remember: if you’re aiming for that perfect window during a Champion Chase, patience can pay off. While missing some smaller events might seem like a setback, the net gain from unlocking a legendary during a big tournament can outweigh those smaller losses.
Now that we’ve reached the big milestone, it’s time to plan the next move. Are you holding out for a tournament or leaping ahead? It’s your call. Either way, good luck out there, and keep those spider runs quick and those demon damage numbers high.
