Raid Shadow Legends: Can HE Pull Better Shards Than ME?!
Brody’s Big Day with Shards
Pulling shards in Raid Shadow Legends can feel like a rollercoaster. When Brody hopped in to help out on Mutant Destroyer’s account, hopes were high for landing a legendary—or at least a few solid epics—to reach champion chase targets for the Esme Fusion. If you’re ready to test your luck, grab some shards and follow along.
The Initial Sacred Shard Draw
Three Sacred Pulls
We kicked things off with three Sacred Shards. Each epic pull was worth 250 points toward the target, while a legendary would have granted a hefty 500. Unfortunately, all three turned out to be epics—Wuji, Valla, and Fayne—netting 750 points total. Not bad, but it left us hungry for more.
Points Check-In
After those Sacred Shards, the tally hit 750, plus a few extra points already in hand. We still needed over 1,700 more to unlock Esme fragments in the champion chase. That meant we had to rely on Ancient Shards to finish the job.
An Ancient Shard Spree
Brody stepped up to pull batches of ten Ancient Shards. At first, it looked a bit grim—mainly rares with a few scattered epics, including Skull Crusher, who’s a nice grab for early clan boss teams. The good news: epics add up fast in points, and we soon reached 2,000. Another round of pulls added more epics—Pan and Lady Quillen—pushing us well beyond the threshold to claim all needed fragments.
Esme Fusion Goals
With enough points secured, Mutant Destroyer could unlock Esme’s fragments. A good tip is to wait before summoning her so you can earn more points in a future event. Patience can pay off if you’re aiming to rack up resources over time.
Planning Your Next Moves
Champion Chase Strategy
- Track your progress: Monitor your points in each event or tournament, then decide how many shards you need to pull.
- Save your summons: Holding on to Sacred Shards for a two-times event can improve your odds of epic or legendary drops.
- Take advantage of freebies: Login rewards, clan boss chests, and daily missions can give you extra shards.
Team Building Tips
- Level key champions: Focus your energy on a few powerhouses that help in multiple areas (Clan Boss, Dungeons, Doom Tower).
- Use synergies: Skull Crusher, for example, can help keep your team alive with his ally protection.
- Check daily quests: They sometimes reward gems or shards you might need for the next big pull.
Beyond the Summons
After the shard rush, Brody jumped back into Frag Pro Shooter—another fun pick if you love quick rounds. Meanwhile, we took a moment to weigh the next steps, like farming campaign stages to level up newly summoned champions, tackling the Doom Tower floors, and saving more shards for the next two-times event. With Esme fragments secured, the path to a stronger roster looks bright.
Final Thoughts
Whether you’re chasing fragments or looking to hit a champion chase milestone, timing your shard pulls and keeping an eye on events can really help. Sacred Shards might bring big points, but Ancient Shards can still tip you over the finish line with enough luck and quantity. Brody’s contribution proves it’s not just about the shards—sometimes it’s the fun you have pulling them.
Stay sharp, aim for key champions, and keep an eye on your point totals. You never know when luck will strike and drop that shiny legendary champion you’ve been hoping for.
